1946 Ercoupe
On Wednesday, September 3, 2014, Cecil Ingram got into his beautiful 1946 Ercoupe for his last flight. Cecil, 89 years young has been bothered by medical issues and felt that it was time for him to hang up his flying gear. He flew into Rick Husband International in Amarillo, TX and taxied up to the Texas Air and Space Museum. The rest of the story was shared in numerous newspaper, magazine, radio and television as well as The Internet. This story was picked up by the Associated Press and distributed, by estimate, to between five and ten million readers.
